Great Institute in front of Sanjay Van, attached to beautiful JNU campus. To reach : 1)At some distance from RK Puram(Magenta Line)-- Green Auto route. 2) Can also be reached via Chhattarpur (Yellow Line). Take bus 604/Shared auto/Green Auto till Gaushala Mandir, Kisangarh Batti(Red Light) then 800m walking.

Better not to meddle with genomes of indigenous cereals/millets which comprise staple of Indian diet...repeating same mistake of Green Revolution initiated by Norman Borlaug....certain exotic indigenous herbs can be experimented with for initial trial!!!🙏🙏🙏 …

Best plant genomic institute in the country. Mostly work on Arabidopsis as model plant system, and Rice, Chickpea, wheat, foxtail millet, tomato as crop plant system.
